2010 has seen me making a lot of crocheted fruit. Not really what I expected to be making but it's been fun. Following on from the Sharrow Winter Garden Trail project I was commissioned by Ruth Ben Tovin of Encounters to make 120 assorted fruit for their latest shop project in Dewsbury.
The fruit were used by participants in the project who wrote a tag about the 'fruits' of their life (their children, grandchildren, work etc) and then attached it to the fruit which was then attached to a tree in the shop.
